Traffic on Independence Avenue in Minsk to Be Restricted Due to Repairs on Svislach Bridge

Repair work on the bridge over the Svislach River on Independence Avenue is set to begin in Minsk. To facilitate the works, traffic for all types of transport, except public transport, will be restricted from July 6 on the section of the avenue between Victory Square and Yanka Kupala Street.

The Minsk traffic police have advised drivers to bypass the closed section using the city’s first and second ring roads, as well as adjacent streets.

The traffic police also published recommended detour routes.
