SVAE Platform And “Diaries Of An NKVD Officer” Declared “Extremist Materials”

The Ministry of Information has updated the list of “extremist materials.”

The projects “Try Slany” and SVAE have been added to the list. The logos of the projects, SVAE’s social media accounts and its mobile applications in the App Store and Google Play have been declared “extremist.”

The list also includes:

• the book “Diaries of an NKVD Officer: A Documentary Exposure of Stalinism” authored by A. Zelenkovskaya;
• the logo and TikTok account “Belarus life”;
• the Telegram chat “Novy Chas Chat” and the Telegram bot “Novy Chas Online”;
• the YouTube video “LUKASHENKA Secretly Hates Putin! A SECRET Has Emerged. TERRIBLE Schemes With The Kremlin!”;
• the Instagram accounts “takija.samyja”, “mironauillia”, “karakulya_best”;
• the website and Telegram channel “BYACTION,” the project’s email address and the Signal contact “Byaction.org”;
• the Facebook account “Ka Malika”;
• the Telegram channel “White scout 88”;
• the TikTok accounts “Lukashenka Behind The Scenes 3%” and “Chyk Chyryk”;
• mirrors of the website “Anarchist Black Cross Belarus.”

Accusations of extremism are used by the Belarusian authorities to fight opponents as well as to persecute dissent in general.
