Subsistence Minimum Budget To Rise By 1.2% From February 1

The subsistence minimum budget in Belarus will increase by an average of 1.2%, or 5.9 roubles, from February 1. It will amount to 496.96 roubles, the Ministry of Labour reported. The new level will apply until April 30, 2026.

The subsistence minimum budget will be set at:

  • for the working-age population — 534.91 roubles (+9.94 roubles);
  • for pensioners — 360.75 roubles (+3.47 roubles);
  • for children under three years of age — 308.1 roubles (+2.24 roubles);
  • for children aged three to six — 414.55 roubles (+0.16 roubles);
  • for children aged six to eighteen — 489.9 roubles (+10.31 roubles).

As a result of the increase in the subsistence minimum budget, social payments linked to it will also rise, including child benefits and pension supplements.
