The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has published the list of Belarusian and Russian athletes granted neutral status, allowing them to take part in qualification events for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
Six Belarusian athletes received neutral status: freestyle skiers Anastasiya Andryianava, Anna Derugo, Ihar Drabiankou, Hanna Huskova and Uladzislau Vazniuk, as well as alpine skier Maria Shkanova.
In October 2025, the FIS Council decided to bar Belarusian athletes from taking part in qualification competitions for the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, even under individual neutral status. The Belarusian Ski Union appealed the decision, and in December the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned the FIS ruling. As a result, Belarusian skiers regained the right to compete in qualification events as neutral athletes.
