A decision has been made in Russia to restrict the operation of the Telegram messenger. Its performance will be slowed, RBC reported, citing sources.
Russia’s media watchdog Roskomnadzor plans to begin implementing measures to partially restrict the service starting February 10. Another source told the outlet that the measures have already begun.
On February 9 and 10, Russian users reported problems with Telegram’s operation.
