Minsk Overpass on Tsimirazieva Street Expected to Be Completed by Year-End

Construction of the overpass near the intersection of Tsimirazieva and Kalesnikava streets in Minsk is 80–85% complete, the Minsk City Executive Committee reported.

All work is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The final bridge span remains to be installed. There are 12 spans in total, and this work is due to be completed by October 20.

“At the same time, we will begin permanently joining the joints and beams within the span and installing the final expansion joint. We plan to complete this work by November 10. By the same date, we also intend to finish installing the remaining beams along the sidewalk sections, permanently joining them as we go. I would like to note that step-free ramps and sidewalks are предусмотрены on both sides for pedestrians, with one of the sidewalks also serving as a cycle path,” said the director of Gordorstroy.

Work on laying all layers of the asphalt concrete pavement will begin at a later stage.
