Rescuers Help Stork Chick Return to Nest in Smarhon District

Rescuers helped a stork chick return to its nest in the Smarhon District. Residents of the agro-town of Zhodishki discovered the young bird in their yard after it had fallen from the nest.

The locals were unable to return the chick to its parents on their own. Using a three-section ladder, emergency workers climbed to the nest and carefully placed the bird back inside, the Ministry for Emergency Situations said.
