Polish authorities in Siedlce are investigating another criminal case involving the illegal legalization of foreigners. The district prosecutor’s office said that two Ukrainian citizens had been detained — 63-year-old Gennady Ch. and 50-year-old Nataliya B.
Two companies, Polmetkon Poland sp. z o.o. and Polmekton PHUP sp. z o.o., submitted documents and job invitations for foreigners to the district employment office and obtained the documents required for foreigners to enter and legalize their stay in Poland on the basis of employment. Citizens of Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia and Belarus used the scheme between January 2018 and February 2026 — more than 600 people in total.
The detainees said they were innocent and refused to give statements. They remain in custody.
