Belarus’s National Personal Data Protection Center has launched an unscheduled inspection of tour operator Tez Tour following an “information security incident.”

On September 15, the Tez Tour website was hacked. The hacker group Datasuckers claimed responsibility for the attack. The hackers said they had destroyed more than 45 million booking records and 252 million transaction records. The tour operator confirmed the attack.

The Personal Data Protection Center said it would pay particular attention to information about the leak of personal data.
