Construction is underway in Minsk on a new five-story building for the Optical Systems Design and Production Department of Peleng. Construction began in late March.
According to the press service of the State Military-Industrial Committee, work is currently underway on the fourth-floor slab. Installation of wall sandwich panels will begin in mid-September. The building’s structural frame is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
The transformer substation has been fully installed. Installation of heating networks at the construction site is continuing.
The roof will be completed and windows and curtain walls installed by the end of the year.
“The new building for Optical Systems is one of Peleng’s key projects this year. The modern space will bring together production, a laboratory and technical services, creating a convenient environment for the development and production of sophisticated optical instruments,” the press service said.
