Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not foresee a near-term thaw in relations with the Collective Security Treaty Organization. He said there is no clear answer regarding Armenia’s future membership in the bloc.
“Our election programme clearly states that we will not take specific steps to intensify our work within the CSTO. That means no thaw is expected. Whether we will leave the CSTO de jure or de facto is another matter — I cannot say. We will act according to the situation”, he said at a briefing, responding to a question about whether Armenia would withdraw from the CSTO, TASS reported.
