A corruption scheme has been uncovered in Homiel Region, the Interior Ministry’s press service reported.
Five people aged between 28 and 59 are under suspicion. They held positions related to procurement management in the housing and utilities sector and the agricultural sector. According to police investigators, the suspects accepted kickbacks in the procurement of electrical equipment.
The scheme allegedly operated from January 2023 to February 2025.
Criminal cases have been opened.
