Number of People Employed in Belarusian Economy Declines in April

In April, 4.1721 million people were employed in the Belarusian economy. That was 8,800 fewer than in March. It should be noted that employment had increased in February and March.

A decline in employment was also recorded in April last year. However, compared with April 2025, the number of people employed in the economy increased by 36,300.

At the same time, compared with December 2019, the number of people employed in the economy decreased by 162,900. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed in the economy.
