Interior Ministry Holds Exercises in Minsk Region

On August 25, comprehensive command-and-staff exercises of the Interior Ministry began in Minsk Region, the Interior Ministry’s departmental newspaper Na Strazhe reports.

The exercises are attended by First Deputy Interior Minister and Chief of the Public Security Police Yury Nazarenka, Minsk Region police chief Andrei Lyubimau, representatives of the regional executive committee and officials from related services in the region.

On the first day, various scenarios for the development of the situation were modeled, and response measures were analyzed, including the coordination of actions at all levels. The practical stage of the exercise will take place on August 26.

During the first stage, Nazarenka checked the readiness of all working groups to take coordinated and prompt action, spoke with several heads of district units and reviewed response procedures for a deteriorating operational situation.
