Number of Belarusians Registered in Poland’s Social Insurance System Continues to Grow

Poland’s Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has published data on insured foreign nationals as of the end of April 2026. The number of Belarusians increased compared with March.

At the end of April, Poland’s social insurance system listed 141,829 citizens of Belarus as insured. Compared with March, the number of Belarusian nationals increased by 1,291 people.

Overall, 1.316 million foreign nationals were registered with ZUS at the end of April. The total number of insured foreigners increased by 11,000 compared with February.

Ukrainian citizens remain the largest group of foreign nationals working in Poland. Nearly 881,354 people were registered with ZUS (+8,000 compared with February). Belarusians ranked second. Indian citizens were third with 25,150 registered individuals.
