Net Profit of Belarusian Enterprises Grows by 21.6% in 2025

Belstat has published data on the financial performance of organisations for the results of 2025. Their net profit increased by 21.6%. Profit indicators began to improve noticeably in the second half of last year.

The operational report by Belstat does not include banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, budget-funded organisations, or organisations without departmental reporting with a workforce of fewer than 50 employees.

In 2025, organisations’ revenue increased by 9.4% to 527.6 billion rubles. In December, revenue amounted to about 49.2 billion rubles, which is 4.2 billion rubles more than in November. The cost of goods sold rose by 8.4% to 432 billion rubles.

Net profit grew by 21.6% to 23.04 billion rubles. In December, net profit amounted to about 1.6 billion rubles.

Sales profitability stood at 6.8%, which is 0.3 percentage points higher than in 2024.

A total of 1,118 organisations were loss-making at the end of the year, which is 12% more than in 2024.

Accounts receivable as of January 1 amounted to 100.1 billion rubles, having decreased by 0.7 billion rubles in December. Over 2025, accounts receivable increased by 12.5%. Accounts payable grew by 14% last year to 120 billion rubles and remained virtually unchanged in December. Debt on loans and borrowings increased by 1.1% over the past year to 140.19 billion rubles.
