Nearly 138,700 Belarusians Registered in Polish Social Insurance by Year-End

Poland’s Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has published data on insured foreigners as of the end of December 2025. The number of Belarusians continues to grow overall.

As of the end of December, 138,730 citizens of Belarus were registered in Poland’s social insurance system. Compared with November, the number of Belarusian nationals decreased by 1,002 people. An increase in the number of Belarusians registered with ZUS had been recorded in the autumn months.

In total, 1.289 million foreigners were registered with ZUS at the end of December. The overall number of insured foreigners decreased by 6,000 compared with October.

The largest group of foreign workers in Poland remains Ukrainian citizens. Almost 857,000 Ukrainians were registered with ZUS, a decrease of 5,000 compared with November. Belarusians rank second, followed by citizens of Georgia in third place with nearly 26,000 people.
