The Minsk Metro has begun test runs of its new “Minsk 2024” trains produced by Russia’s Metrovagonmash. This year the city is scheduled to receive four five-car trainsets. Two have already arrived in the Belarusian capital, with two more expected shortly.
A trial run took place on the Autazavodskaya Line. The train operated with stops at station complexes, while staff from the Mahilyowskaye depot — to which the new rolling stock will be assigned — and specialists from the Metrovagonmash service group monitored technical parameters and tested the train directly on the line, the metro press service reported.
