A minibus struck a woman in Mahilyow as she was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing, the Mahilyow Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
The accident occurred at about 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of Yakubouski and Surhanau streets. A 44-year-old minibus driver hit a 47-year-old woman who was crossing the road at a signal-controlled crosswalk. Video footage shows that the minibus entered the intersection on a red traffic light.
The woman was taken to hospital with injuries. Seven passengers were on board the minibus at the time of the accident. None of them was injured.
