Mine Railcar Supplied Without Explosion Safety Check Identified in Minsk Region

Officers from the economic crime units of the Minsk Region have identified violations in the procurement of mining equipment for one of the region’s major industrial enterprises.

According to the Interior Ministry, the supplier delivered a self-propelled mine railcar to the customer while providing false information about the possibility of its operation. In particular, the equipment had not undergone a procedure to verify compliance with explosion safety requirements. Despite this, the company received an advance payment of more than 400,000 rubles.

During the review, the entire unjustifiably transferred amount was returned to the purchasing enterprise. The seller was brought to administrative liability for selling products without a valid certificate of conformity.
