Mikalai Lukashenka Again Awarded Presidential Scholarship

Mikalai Lukashenka, the youngest son of Aliaksandr Lukashenka, has once again been included among the recipients of the presidential scholarship for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed an order on supporting gifted and talented young people and promising projects. A total of 758,000 Belarusian rubles has been allocated for these purposes from the national budget through Lukashenka’s reserve fund.

Presidential scholarships have been awarded to 197 university students. Grand prizes with the title of laureate of the special fund have been awarded to 29 winners of international Olympiads, competitions, and festivals.

Special prizes will also be awarded to 79 school pupils, students, cadets, and 11 creative groups.

Fourteen teachers will receive awards for their contribution to nurturing talented young people.

Mikalai Lukashenka studied biotechnology under a joint Belarusian-Chinese educational program run by Belarusian State University and Peking University. This year, he completed his fourth year of studies and received his diploma. Mikalai has been receiving special scholarships awarded by his father since his first year of study.
