Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky will head the Russian delegation at talks in Abu Dhabi. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced this.

“As for the chief negotiator on the Russian side in this process, let me remind you of the president’s statement: my colleague Medinsky remains in that role,” he said.

A trilateral meeting involving representatives of the United States, Ukraine and Russia will take place in Abu Dhabi on January 10–11. The United States will act as mediator. The White House will be represented at the negotiating table by Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
