Belarusfilm together with television channels should present their own TV series this year. This was stated by Marat Markau, head of the Information Ministry, at a meeting of the ministry’s board.
“Television channels must ensure the first results already this year from joint production with Belarusfilm of their own television series,” the ministry quoted him as saying.
Among other tasks, Markau named strengthening the state’s position in the information space. It is also necessary to increase the volume of “nationally produced content” on television.
“In addition, we are talking about supporting domestic literature and book publishing, strengthening the state’s position in the internet space, including social networks and messengers, organizing close interaction between traditional media and the blogosphere, monitoring the information space, and tracking channels for the publication and distribution of destructive literature,” Markau outlined other tasks.
