Major Forest Fire Extinguished in Stolin District, Preliminary Cause Believed to Be Arson

A forest fire in Stolin District was extinguished after around eight hours. The preliminary cause of the blaze is believed to be arson. Materials will be forwarded to law enforcement agencies, the Forestry Ministry reported.

The fire in the Duboi Forestry area was recorded yesterday at 5:11 p.m. It was fully extinguished at 1:30 a.m. More than 30 people and special equipment were involved in fighting the fire.
