Aliaksandr Lukashenka is holding one-on-one talks with Myanmar’s President Min Aung Hlaing. The Belarusian leader proposed launching “a new stage in bilateral relations.”

“We must build relations between our two countries that will serve as an example for other countries in the region,” Lukashenka was quoted as saying by his press service.

In his view, the foundation of these relations should be the well-being of the two nations.

“We are not building friendship against anyone. We are developing our relations for the benefit of our peoples,” he said.
