Lukashenka Sticker Pack Declared “Extremist” in Belarus

Belarus’ Ministry of Information has updated the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Among the newly designated items is the Telegram sticker pack “TORGASH.1,” featuring images of Aliaksandr Lukashenka. The corresponding decision was issued on July 15 by the Mazyr District Court of the Homiel Region.

Also added to the list were the Facebook pages “Alla Kalesnikovich,” “Dmitro Karol,” and “Mikhail Boika,” the Threads page “Naviny Mahiliouskaha Rehiyonu,” and the TikTok account “Belultras. Ultras Belarusi.”

As previously reported, extremism-related charges in Belarus are used by the authorities to target Lukashenka’s opponents and dissent more broadly.
