Lukashenka Appoints New Head Of Military Academy

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has appointed Major General Dzmitry Strashynski as the new head of the Military Academy of Belarus, his press service reported.

Prior to this, Strashynski served as head of the Main Military Inspectorate of the Belarusian Armed Forces.

Since April 2024, the academy had been led by Major General Andrei Harbatenka. In early March, he was appointed Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council.
