Alyaksandr Lukashenka today heard a report from the chairman of the Homyel Regional Executive Committee, Ivan Krupko.
According to Lukashenka’s press service, the report concerned the situation in the region amid heavy snowfalls and an approaching cyclone. Krupko informed him about efforts to ensure the stable functioning of infrastructure, as well as the clearing of streets and major transport routes. It should be recalled that an orange weather alert was in effect in the Homyel region yesterday due to snowfalls. Lukashenka asked whether the region needed any assistance.
The discussion also covered the implementation of instructions following last year’s meeting in Vitsyebsk, where issues concerning the work of agricultural enterprises were examined. For this purpose, labor resources from industrial enterprises are also being involved to provide support to agricultural organizations.
