Kazakhstan Refinery to Supply Gasoline to Russia

Kazakhstan’s Kondensat refinery will supply Russia with 70% of its gasoline and diesel fuel output. Kazakhstan’s Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov said.

“At the moment, we have an agreement that up to 30% of the petroleum products in demand — gasoline and diesel — will remain in Kazakhstan, while the rest will be sent to Russia,” Interfax quoted the minister as saying.

He clarified that the supplies would be transported by rail, so “everything will depend on the capacity of the railway infrastructure.”
