The Interior Ministry will hold in Vitsyebsk on Friday, April 24 “comprehensive command-and-staff exercises to test the readiness of Interior Ministry units to operate in special conditions”.
In this connection, on April 23 from 15:00 to 18:00 and on April 24 from 14:00 to 18:00, traffic of all types will be restricted in the regional centre on Tereshkova Street between the intersection with Sofyi Pankovoy Street and Frunze Avenue. The movement of special and military equipment is possible.
One stage of the exercise will take place on the premises of the Evikom shopping centre, which will therefore operate until 15:00 today and will be closed tomorrow.
“Sounds of explosions and gunfire may be heard near the site. There is no cause for concern”, the Interior Ministry said.
