Indian Ambassador to Belarus Ashok Kumar has visited the BelOMO enterprise and held talks with its director general Alyaksandr Maroz.
“The ambassador discussed opportunities for cooperation between India and Belarus in the defence sector, with a particular focus on the ‘Made in India’ initiative,” the Indian Embassy reported.
The BelOMO holding is a manufacturer of optoelectronic equipment. It is under EU, US and UK sanctions for cooperation with Russia in the defence sector.
