Residents of the Homiel region are urged not to approach shooting ranges and designated areas during training exercises for territorial defense troops.
Training exercises involving reservists are being held in Homiel and the Sviatlahorsk and Aktsiabrski districts from September 1 to 25. The exercises cover the protection and defense of important facilities and measures to be carried out under martial law. People’s militia units will also be formed.
“During the exercises, traffic on certain streets will be restricted, and live-fire training activities will be held at shooting ranges and designated areas in the regional center, as well as in the Sviatlahorsk and Aktsiabrski districts. For the safety of citizens, they should not approach shooting ranges or designated areas and must not cross the boundary marked by signs in the area during the specified period,” the Homiel Regional Executive Committee reports.
