Heavy Rain Floods Seven Road Sections in Minsk

Following a heavy downpour in Minsk, seven sections of roads have been flooded. Most of the flooding occurred in the Frunzenski District, the Emergency Situations Ministry reported.

Eleven trolleybus routes and twelve bus routes were temporarily suspended. As of 4:15 p.m., traffic congestion in Minsk had reached the maximum 10-point level.

Emergency workers and коммунальные services are carrying out operations to deal with the consequences of the flooding.

Forecasters are warning of another heavy rain overnight into Saturday.
