Belarus’s Council of Ministers has adopted a resolution “On the Sale of Labelled Goods”.
According to the government’s press service, the resolution отменяет the requirement to label remaining stocks of soft drinks and juices with identification means. In addition, the document provides for the possibility of circulating clothing items made of natural fur within the country if they are labelled with old-style markings, namely protected physical carriers bearing identification means.
“The adoption of the resolution will reduce the burden on businesses in terms of implementing the mechanism for labelling goods with identification means and will help prevent possible disruptions in meeting consumer demand for juices and soft drinks,” the government’s press service said.
