Four Discussions to Be Held in Warsaw One Day Before the New Belarus Conference

The New Belarus Conference will take place in Warsaw on Aug. 8–9 this year. However, four side events will be held in the Polish capital the day before the conference. They were announced by the Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

The events will take place on Aug. 7. Admission is free, but priority will be given to those who register in advance.

The following discussions will be held ahead of the conference:

• “Language, Culture, Education, and Media: The Invisible Front for Belarus”
• “Artificial Intelligence: An Algorithm of Freedom or Digital Authoritarianism?”
• “Local Councils: From Elections to Cooperation and Results”
• “Belarusian Civil Society: We Endured. What Comes Next?”
