Foreigner Suspected Of Distributing Mephedrone In Minsk And Suburbs

Officers of the drug control unit of the Leninski District Police Department of Minsk, together with the border service, detained a 41-year-old foreigner caught in the act and suspected of drug trafficking.

During searches at his place of residence and in hidden stash locations, more than 300 grams of mephedrone were seized.

According to investigators, the man found work in the drug trade on the internet. Under the guidance of a supervisor, he collected large batches of the drug, packaged them into small doses at his place of residence, and placed them in stash locations in Minsk and the surrounding suburbs. He managed to work for the online drug store for less than a month.

A criminal case has been opened for illegal drug trafficking with intent to distribute, the Minsk City Executive Committee’s police department reported.
