Emergency responders in the Brest, Vitsyebsk, Homiel and Minsk regions and Minsk helped deal with the aftermath of bad weather, including cutting up and removing fallen trees.
In the Brest region, Emergency Ministry personnel were called out twice to carry out such work — in Baranavichy district and Brest. Three passenger cars were damaged in the regional capital.
In the Vitsyebsk region, emergency responders provided assistance six times following fallen trees. Two call-outs each were made in Orsha and Vitsyebsk districts, and one each in Dokshytsy and Chashniki districts. In Dokshytsy district, a tree damaged a passenger car.
In Mazyr, Homiel region, a fallen tree blocked traffic on Fabrychny Lane in the evening. Emergency responders cut it up and cleared the road.
In the Minsk region, Emergency Ministry personnel were called out three times to remove five fallen trees in Barysau and Smaliavichy districts.
In Minsk, two cases of fallen trees and one case involving temporary wooden supports for an electrical cable were reported. Emergency responders helped clear two damaged cars and a road.
According to operational information from the Emergency Ministry, there were no casualties. Emergency responders continue to monitor the situation.
