Enterprises in Several Russian Regions Damaged Following Drone Raid

Russia’s Defence Ministry said 286 Ukrainian drones had been neutralised. According to the Russian ministry, they were intercepted and destroyed over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Tambov, Yaroslavl, Oryol, Tula, Kaluga, Ryazan and Astrakhan regions, Krasnodar Krai, Kalmykia and Crimea.

At the same time, local authorities reported fires at industrial and infrastructure facilities.

Astrakhan Region Governor Igor Babushkin said an attack on the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant had been repelled. According to him, all drones were shot down, but falling debris caused a fire, which authorities said would be extinguished within several hours.

Authorities in Krasnodar Krai reported that drone debris fell on the territory of an enterprise in the settlement of Volna in Temryuk District. According to preliminary information, one person was injured. Equipment caught fire at the site. The blaze was tackled by 96 personnel and 29 units of equipment. The Port of Taman is located near the settlement.

In Rostov Region, drone debris damaged wind power plant installations.

Authorities in Yaroslavl said debris from a downed UAV struck an industrial facility.

In addition, reports emerged in the morning about a fire at a linear dispatch and pumping station in Nurlino in Bashkortostan. However, the region was not mentioned in the Russian Defence Ministry’s report. No air raid alert was declared there either.
