Four incidents in the agricultural sector were included in the Emergency Situations Ministry’s daily report.
According to the report, Belarusian farmers lost two balers in one day in the “battle for the harvest.” One caught fire near the village of Tsydziki in the Berastavitsa district, while the other burned near the village of Kabanauka in the Zhlobin district.
A wheat field caught fire near the village of Yodzientsy in the Iuje district. Crops on an area of 1 hectare were destroyed, while 30 hectares of wheat were saved.
Near the village of Sitsianets in the Salihorsk district, 51 tonnes of straw burned. Firefighters managed to remove 34 tonnes from the burning haystack.
