The European Council has announced that eight countries have joined the latest European Union sanctions against Belarus and Russia.
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway and Ukraine will align their policies with the relevant EU regulation.
It should be recalled that under the 20th package of sanctions, the list of goods banned from being supplied to Belarus was expanded, as were the lists of goods subject to export controls and restrictions on transit through Belarus. Restrictions were also introduced on the provision of certain services, the import of specific goods, transactions with crypto-asset service providers and transactions involving Belarusian crypto-assets.
