A Belarusian man arrived at the customs terminal in Koroszczyn while drunk. He was detained.
A truck entering Poland from Belarus damaged infrastructure elements while entering the terminal in Koroszczyn. Polish customs officers suspected that the driver might be intoxicated, took his keys and notified the police.
Police officers who arrived at the scene tested the driver with a breathalyzer. His blood alcohol level was more than 1.5 per mille, the Lublin Customs and Tax Office reports.
The Belarusian man was detained. He faces up to three years in prison.
