Russia’s Defense Ministry said it intercepted 264 drones overnight. According to the Russian military, they were neutralized over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, Ulyanovsk, and Yaroslavl regions, Krasnodar Territory, Tatarstan, the Moscow region, and Crimea.
At the same time, local authorities reported damage. Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar said there was destruction in Taganrog, Bataysk, and Rostov-on-Don. According to media reports, fires broke out at two enterprises in Rostov-on-Don.
A fire was also reported at the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 26 drones heading toward the capital had been destroyed overnight.
Flight restrictions were introduced at Moscow airports as well as in other regions.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said a drone struck the building of the “Air Navigation of Southern Russia” institution in Rostov. As a result, airports in Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Gelendzhik, Grozny, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Magas, Mineralnye Vody, Nalchik, Sochi, Stavropol, and Elista are not operating. Equipment inspections are underway.
