The Prosecutor General’s Office has sent a criminal case against the deputy director of a cadastral agency to the Minsk City Court. He is accused of receiving a large-scale bribe and abusing official authority (Part 2 of Article 430 and Part 2 of Article 424 of the Criminal Code).
According to the prosecution, since late 2023 the deputy director established illegal cooperation with a representative of real estate agencies. He provided photographs of title documents for real estate properties. The agreed payment was $10 per document. The parties used various messaging applications for the purpose of concealment, and the money was transferred only after significant sums had accumulated.
According to investigators, from December 2023 to April 2025 he transferred documents relating to at least 582 real estate properties. In return, he received no less than 16,400 Belarusian rubles.
