“Democracy Won.” Tsikhanouskaya Congratulates Pashinyan

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary election.

“Warm congratulations to PM Nikol Pashinyan  and the people of Armenia on yesterday’s election.

Democracy won. The people of Armenia have chosen freedom and independence with courage and determination.

Belarusians stand with Armenia on its continued path toward a European future,” she wrote.

Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party won 49.81% of the vote and secured 61 seats in the 107-seat parliament.
