Customs Explains Who May Be Given Temporary Use Of Vehicles Temporarily Imported Into Belarus

The State Customs Committee has published an explanation of who may be given temporary use of a vehicle that has been temporarily imported into Belarus without customs declaration.

The committee identified three situations in which such a transfer is allowed:

• transfer of a temporarily imported vehicle to another person for maintenance, repair (except for major repairs or modernization) and/or storage;
• transfer of a vehicle temporarily imported by a citizen of a Eurasian Economic Union state to their parents, children or spouse in a registered marriage;
• transfer of a vehicle temporarily imported by a foreign individual to another foreign individual.
