Belarus’ ambassador to Russia appointed this year, Yury Seliverstau, is planning to visit Crimea, which was annexed by Russia. Preparations for the visit were announced on the air of Sputnik in Crimea by the representative of the “Crimean Council of Ministers” in Belarus and deputy chairman of the Coordination Council of “organisations of Russian compatriots” in Belarus, Andrei Lapatski.
“We are now preparing for the arrival in the Republic of Crimea, in Sevastopol, of the new ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation. “Belarus and Crimea are engaged in cooperation that brings us not only financial and material benefits, but above all spiritual satisfaction from our brotherly relations,” Lapatski added.
