A review of regulatory legal acts in Belarus has been successfully completed, Deputy Head of Lukashenka’s Administration Volha Chuprys said at a meeting of the Ministry of Justice board. She was responsible for overseeing the review.
“Let me remind you that the review was completed quite successfully. More than half of the acts that were in force at the start of the review were reduced. In addition, the quality of those regulatory legal acts that were analyzed was improved, and this is a major achievement,” she said, according to BelTA.
According to her, the work will not end there, and the Ministry of Justice will be tasked with improving the quality of legislation, in particular by reducing the number of referral norms.
“Accordingly, the task for the Ministry of Justice will be to draft legislation simply, clearly and accessibly, to conduct legal review so that these acts are implemented in real life, without the need to invent additional algorithms to enforce what was previously written,” she added.
