A girl born in 2024 fell into an artificial pond at a summer house and nearly drowned. She has been hospitalized, the OSVOD rescue service reports.
The incident occurred on March 28 at around 18:10 in the village of Belichany in the Sapotskin сельсовет. The mother and child were at their summer house. The woman stepped outside and found the child lying face down in an artificial pond measuring 1.5 by 1.5 meters and up to 0.5 meters deep. The girl showed no signs of life.
The mother pulled her daughter out of the water and began cardiopulmonary resuscitation. When the child started breathing, the woman took her to the hospital in her personal car.
The girl was admitted to intensive care. She is in a condition of moderate severity.
