“Chasiki Tikayut” Recognised as “Extremist Formation”

The YouTube channel “Chasiki Tikayut”, which hosts a programme of the same name, has been recognised as an “extremist formation”. The corresponding decision was adopted by Belarus’s Interior Ministry on April 27.

The Interior Ministry’s list in connection with the formation mentions the programme’s hosts: Artsiom Shraibman, Yauheniya Suhak, Ryhor Astapenia, Leu Lvousky. The list also includes “Chasiki Tikayut” accounts on social media and podcast platforms (YouTube, YouTube Music, TikTok, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Podcast Addict, Listen Notes), as well as “a logo in the form of a broken black line on a yellow background”.

It is recalled that in Belarus, the authorities use extremism charges to target political opponents and dissent more broadly.
