Brest Region Student Has Centralised Testing Results Annulled

A resident of Brest Region has had his centralised testing results annulled after posting photographs of exam questions online, which is prohibited under the rules governing the test.

“A student from a secondary education institution in Brest Region posted a version of the mathematics exam questions in a Telegram chat while the examination was still in progress. The administrators of the chat have been identified. The commission decided to annul the participant’s results in the subject of mathematics,” said Dzmitry Mironau, director of the Republican Institute for Knowledge Control, BelTA reported.

According to him, the young man is an excellent student with an average school certificate score of 9.1.

The commission responsible for annulling centralised testing results is scheduled to meet again on June 6.

Earlier, Mironau reported that isolated cases had been identified involving the publication of photographs of exam questions on the internet, Telegram channels and chat groups. The identities of all individuals who posted the materials have been established.
